Upload a rally. We find the leak.

Film Review starts with a clip of your own game. Walk the five checkpoints your coach watches for on one shot — the app names the leak in plain words and turns it into the drill that fixes it.

A doubles rally at the kitchen line

THE RESET CHECKLIST — WHAT YOUR COACH LOOKS FOR

1. Paddle in front of your chest before the ball arrives

2. Grip visibly loose — fingers not white-knuckled

3. Almost no backswing; the block absorbs, it doesn't hit

1 · Film one rallyPhone video is fine — 30 seconds is enough to check a shot
2 · Check the five pointsYour coach's checklist for that shot, ticked against your own film — the first miss is the leak
3 · The fix joins your planThe leak becomes a drill, and your film history feeds your rating

Where it's heading: a full automatic match-film breakdown — every error timestamped — is in development. Pro members get it the day it lands. Today's checklist version is the honest one, and it works.

Film Review lives in Pro — the check shows you why it's worth it.

What is Film Review?

Film Review is Pickleball Skill Levels' way of learning from your own game film. You film a rally, pick the shot you want checked, and walk the five checkpoints a coach watches for on that shot. The app names the first checkpoint you're missing — your leak — and turns it into the drill that fixes it.

Do I need special equipment to film?

No. A phone propped on a fence or a tripod at the back of the court is fine. Thirty seconds of rally is enough for a form check.

Is Film Review included in the free skill check?

The skill check is free and gives you your level and weakest shot. Film Review itself is part of Pro, along with your weekly plan, coach, and the full video library.
