TERMS OF SERVICE

DRAFT — not legal advice; owner review before launch.

1. The service

Pickleball Skill Levels measures a player's estimated Skill Level from a

skill check, logged matches and (optionally) film analysis, and provides

training plans, coaching, courses, court finding, and play organization tools.

Your Skill Level is our estimate, not an official rating. It is not a

DUPR rating, and we are not affiliated with DUPR. Tournament and league

directors make their own placement decisions.

2. Accounts are pay-gated

  • Free tools (skill check, estimator, paddle finder, round robin, court

finder, scorekeeper) are open to everyone without an account.

  • An account is created when you choose a plan and your payment succeeds.

If you leave before payment completes, no account is created and nothing

is charged.

  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your

password private. One account per person.

3. Price, renewal, cancellation

  • Pro is one plan with everything included. Current pricing is shown at

checkout and on the Pricing page. As of this writing: Yearly $79/year

(launch offer: $39.50 for the first year through Nov 30, 2026) or Monthly

$12/month (launch offer: $6 the first month). Prices can change for future

periods; we email members before a change affects their renewal.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until

cancelled. Your renewal date and price are always visible in Profile →

Membership & Billing, and in your welcome email.

  • Cancel in two taps from Profile. Cancellation keeps your access until

the end of the paid period; we do not refund partial periods, and we do

refund in full when a charge was our error.

  • Pause: you may pause billing for up to 3 months from Profile; your

data and history are kept while paused.

  • If a renewal payment fails, we notify you and give you a grace period to

update your card before Pro pauses. Your data is never deleted over a

failed payment.

4. Film Review

  • You keep all rights to film you upload. You give us permission to process

it solely to produce your review and plan.

  • Film analysis identifies patterns and likely errors from video; it is

coaching guidance, not a guarantee of accuracy, and it is not a substitute

for in-person instruction.

  • Only upload film you have the right to share.

5. Crews, leagues and community

  • Play fair: log real scores, use your real first name in crews and leagues.
  • No harassment, spam, gambling, or commercial solicitation in crews,

leagues, or invites. We may remove content or accounts that break this,

and blocking/reporting tools are available in-app.

  • Organizers are responsible for their own events; we provide the tools

(standings, check-in, scorekeeping) but do not run the events.

6. Acceptable use of the site

Don't try to break, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer the rating system to

sell ratings, or use the site to harm others. Verified Skill Cards rely on

honest use; accounts that falsify match data may lose their verified status.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service up and accurate, but we don't guarantee

uninterrupted availability. Court listings are verified by hand on the date

shown and can change; confirm details with the facility for important plans.

8. Liability, in plain words

To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected

to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before

the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer

law that can't be waived.

9. Changes to these terms

Material changes are emailed to members before they take effect. Continuing

to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
